Description :
Nizoral dandruff shampoo is used for the treatment and prevention of dandruff and seborrhoeic dermatitis, which is a more severe kind of dandruff. It contains antifungal, ketoconazole, which targets an increased number of natural occuring yeasts on the skin, called Malassezia, which are more prevalent in people who suffer from dandruff and seborrhoeic dermatitis. The shampoo will also treat the inflammation associated with dandruff, relieving scalp redness and itching.
It is also suitable for use in adults and children of all ages. It can also be used if you are pregnant, think your pregnant or are breastfeeding.

For the treatment of dandruff and seborrhoeic dermatitis Wet hair thoroughly. Apply a small amount of nizoral dandruff shampoo to your scalp and massage into a lather. Leave the lather on your scalp for 3-5 minutes. Rinse off thoroughly.
To be used as shampoo initially every 3-4 days (twice a week) for 2-4 weeks and then once every 1-2 weeks to prevent recurrence. For best results the shampoo should be left on scalp for 3-5 minutes. If symptoms persist with your scalp not clearing within 4 weeks refer to GP. Perfume-free, light pink shampoo containing ketoconazole 2%w/w KETOCONAZOLE-20mg/ml

Don't use more than as directed. If you need to use a shampoo to wash your hair more often, use your usual shampoo. If your hair is very thick, you can wash your hair with your usual shampoo and then use nizoral dandruff shampoo.
